Avian Flu: Being Prepared

While avian flu has infected only a few hundred people, all outside the U.S., it could trigger a pandemic affecting millions. And it is vital to be prepared in case it does. In conjunction with county health officials, UCI has enacted a response plan that includes what the campus community can do if the flu reaches our region.

To keep the UCI community informed of important avian-flu-related news, this site will offer updates on UCI’s latest response efforts and links to more information about avian flu and recommended health precautions.
