Dr. Federico Vaca is associate professor of clinical emergency medicine and executive director of the Center for Trauma and Injury Prevention Research. A former fellow with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Vaca is an expert on driver safety issues and his research focuses on reducing injuries and fatalities from traffic accidents.
