About this expert

Fan-Gang Zeng, professor of otolaryngology, biomedical engineering, and anatomy and neurobiology, is director of the Hearing and Speech Lab in the UC Irvine School of Medicine. Zeng has made a number of key breakthroughs on the effective use of hearing devices such as cochlear implants and novel treatments for hearing disorders such as tinnitus.
