UC Irvine Seal

The University of California, Irvine seal is the visual symbol of the university. It includes the word “Irvine” at the bottom and is only appropriate for the most formal applications and expressions of identity as a stand-alone graphic element, or in conjunction with the secondary wordmark or unit wordmarks as required. As the UC Irvine seal loses its clarity and depth when printed, it should not be used on the Web, nor should it be cropped in any applications.

Please note: the UC Irvine seal differs from the University of California seal, which includes the founding year of “1868” at the bottom. The UC seal should not be used in conjunction with the university wordmarks.

To include a UC Irvine seal with a wordmark, see wordmark variations. For the seal alone, use the links below. The seal cannot be modified in any way. For additional usage guidelines, click here. For download instructions, click here.
