Retroactive Actions

Any SMG action being presented to the Regents for approval may not have an effective date prior to the actual approval date by the Regents. The effective date of all items should be no earlier than “upon approval of the Regents.”

For all non-SMG actions, retroactive actions will be considered “outside of policy” and subject to heightened review. A retroactive action is any action that is effective prior to the first month in which the action is approved.
