The School of Biological Sciences is comprised of four departments: developmental and cell biology, ecology and evolutionary biology, molecular biology and biochemistry, and neurobiology and behavior. Widely regarded as a premier center of biological education and research, state of the art multidisciplinary research and academic opportunities take place in the Developmental Biology Center, Cancer Research Institute, Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory, Institute for Brain Aging and Dementia, the Macromolecular Structure Research Unit, Center for Molecular and Mitochondrial Medicine and Genetics, and the Animal Virology Unit. |
