Corona del Mar beaches are less crowded than those of its neighbor Newport Beach and can be easily accessed from the village. For the fit, the beach is a challenging cycle over Newport Coast Drive hill. Or take an easy 40-minute ride from UCI following cycle trails all the way. Orange County is a cyclist's dream with cycle paths and wide lanes on many of the roads.
