Important Housing Updates for November 17th

Dear Housing Residents,
Three brief reminders for you today:
Thank you to the 600+ of you who have submitted your Thanksgiving plans in the Student Affairs survey. If you have not yet responded,REGISTER YOUR PLANS HERE by Tuesday 11/24/20:http://cglink.me/s39479.
Please consider the two best options for minimizing your Covid risk heading into Thanksgiving week: (1) remain on campus OR (2) go home and stay home through winter break.
Orange County has moved back into the Purple Tier of Covid restrictions. What does this mean for the UCI Campus?
In-person gatherings – including lectures, student programming and events – will be prohibited.
TheARC will remain open for outdoor activities but indoor offerings will not be available.
Study spaces in the Student Center and the libraries are now closed. Please consider using the outdoor study tents at Langson Library Plaza and Humanities Hall Plaza.
The California Department of Public Health has issued aTravel Advisory that discourages all “Non-essential travel” and prescribes a14-day self-quarantinefor individuals traveling (or returning) to California from other states or countries.
Please consider these updates as you finalize your plans for Thanksgiving and the end of fall quarter.
