Plaza Verde & Prietto Testing Site Closure, Vaccine Reminder & Testing Exemption

Testing Updates

  1. More test site closures – Due to increased numbers of students receiving the vaccine, we will be closing the Plaza Verde testing site after June 9 and Prietto Sports Medicine Center after June 11. Appointments will be moved to the Division of Continuing Education (DCE) Yosemite Room. If you wish to reschedule your appointment, visit the UCI Student Health Center Patient Portal.
     
  2. illustration of a student with bandage on armUpload your vaccination record – If you have already received your COVID-19 vaccine, or once you receive it, please upload your vaccination record by visiting the UCI Student Health Center Patient Portal. Step-by-step instructions for uploading your vaccination record can be found here. Additionally, please view this short video tutorialthat walks you through the upload process.
     
    If you need assistance or you are having trouble uploading your vaccine record, contact Contact Tracing and Vaccine Navigation Services (CTVNS) at 949.824.2300. While vaccines are not mandatory at this time, the campus anticipates that our ability to open the campus for Fall 2021 will be contingent on the number of vaccinated students.
     
  3. Zotpass example graphicTesting exemption – Effective April 26, students who are fully vaccinated (14 days after their last shot) and upload their vaccination records are no longer required to participate in the Asymptomatic Testing Program. Students should expect to receive verification of their test exemption from CTVNS through a message in their UCI-SHC Patient Portal. The ZotPass will also reflect your exempt status within 24 hours of your verification.
     
    If you have not received your verification, please call CTVNS at 949.824.2300. Students should continue testing until they receive their verification from CTVNS. Student-Athletes may still be required to test regularly based on their rules and regulations for competition. Student-Athletes should check with UCI Intercollegiate Athletics for additional guidance on testing.
