Updates to COVID Daily Symptom Check

Dear colleagues:

In alignment with UCI’s updated COVID-19 guidelines, effective Saturday, March 19, 2022, the UCI Working Well™ Daily Symptom Check has been updated to eliminate the ‘NO’ response option.

As of March 21, only persons who answer yes to any of the questions in the Daily Symptom Check are required to respond by selecting the ‘YES’ link that is available in the email or mobile app. However, all employees must continue to check themselves daily against symptom check questions prior to accessing any UCI property.

  • If an employee answers ‘YES’, they should follow the instructions provided in the response email they will receive.
  • Employees who answer ‘YES’ should not access UCI property or report for on-site work until they have been cleared to do so by the UCI Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (COEH) or Contact Tracing and Vaccine Navigation Services (CTVNS).
