Each day, a UCI expert will answer one of your questions about COVID-19, vaccinations, variants or the future of work. Submit questions via email.
Today’s question is answered by David Souleles, director of UCI’s COVID-19 Response Team:
What happens if I report positive symptoms of COVID-19 in the daily symptom check?
If you report symptoms on the daily symptom check, stay home. Students will be referred for evaluation to the UCI Student Health Center. Employee referrals will go to the UCI Center for Occupational and Environmental Health. If needed, a COVID-19 test will be scheduled for you through UCI at no cost.
